In this episode of Gun Stock Reviews, we take a first look and Range time with the new Marlin 1894 Lever Action Carbine in .357 Magnum/.38 Special. We also take a quick look at an earlier version of the Marlin 1894 chambered in .44 Magnum. With the news of the recent purchase of Marlin by Ruger, this is even more relevant today. This particular Carbine was made by Remington in Illion, NY, but we still don’t know where the new Marlin Carbines going to be made.

Yamil started his professional relationship with the Shooting Industry in 1995 and has since worked with Companies like S&W, Glock, FNH USA, Remington, Bushmaster, Bushnell, Leupold, Aimpoint, PWS, Vortex Optics, Cor-Bon Ammunition, ERGO Grips, AmeriGlo Sights, Krause Publications, Comp Tac Victory Gear, The Beta Company, IDPA, MGM Targets, Rainier Ballistics, Rock Castle Shooting Center, and SIG Sauer. At various times Yamil has worked as a staff photographer for Cabela's and Air Age Publishing. He was involved in Gun Games magazine helping to set the photographic style of lighting and set design for firearm photography. Never resting he continues to evolve and set the standard for lighting and design in the industry. Yamil collaborated with Panteao Productions to create a DVD on how to photograph the Action Shooting Sports.
