Yamil is a firearms expert with extensive knowledge of the history and development of firearms and the industry. Yamil has extensive contacts in the firearms industry. Yamil produces articles for a variety of Gun Magazines on a variety of firearms. Yamil is a graduate of the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photographic Arts and Sciences in Santa Barbara, CA with a Major in Illustration Photography and Color Technology with over 27 years of professional experience. Yamil started his professional relationship with the Shooting Industry in 1995 and has since worked with Companies like S&W, Glock, FNH USA, Remington, Bushmaster, Bushnell, Leupold, Aimpoint, PWS, Vortex Optics, Cor-Bon Ammunition, ERGO Grips, AmeriGlo Sights, Krause Publications, Comp Tac Victory Gear, The Beta Company, IDPA, MGM Targets, Rainier Ballistics, Rock Castle Shooting Center, and SIG Sauer. At various times Yamil has worked as a staff photographer for Cabela's and Air Age Publishing. He was involved in Gun Games magazine helping to set the photographic style of lighting and set design for firearm photography. Never resting he continues to evolve and set the standard for lighting and design in the industry. Yamil collaborated with Panteao Productions to create a DVD on how to photograph the Action Shooting Sports.
